I dont know whether you have a copy of the latest version of his book "The Fosketts of Pennyweight Flats" but in the back he has included a family tree of what I think is the antecedents of the said George. For the record my place in the Foskett clan is my Great-Great-Grandfather was Henry John Foskett (b 1854)who emigrated to Australia on "Beejapore" in 1857 with his father Stephen and mother Sarah.

Comment: I am Foskett.... well Alan Foskett anyway. Cracking site plenty of info for the novice , as a im sure most of us Fosketts are not as we are a very inquisitive bunch , my lot are anyway. My dad Charles louis Foskett has traced us back 2 around 1400 along the male line all from London, Central to be precise from Islington ,Clerkenwell and Just south of the river. I ,myself have 3 children and a beautiful wife but no longer live in London as i can no afford £1,000,000 to live where my family r from but there u go its everywhere i suppose. We live in Essex and it was interesting to read about the names origin as i have read some of my dads stuff but not all, and knowing it may be Roman or French or Saxon was very interesting.As i said its a cracking site and long may we add to it and keep our proud family name of FOSKETT in the public domain. Comment: I have only just scratched the surface of your web site, (Google searched "FOSKETT")So far I cannot beleive how much hard work you have put into this task. I am looking to add my side/branch of the Foskett tree and would like to know what information you need to fill in the gaps I know of. 1 of my aims is to try and track down any medical disorders. I have 3 working against each other (very high risk medications req.)1. sleep apnea, 2. cataplexy and 3. Worst is Narcolepsy(fall asleep any time)

I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada (1946) as was my father Sidney Garnet Foskett (1917) who was one of three sons born to Charles and Marion (Sheperd) Foskett. I am not sure if my grandfather was born in England or Canada but my grandmother was born in England. So that seems to make it difficult to trace their backgrounds. Any suggestions on where to start.
