Mrs Fosgate gave her husband bonds to the amount of $4,000, in which both had an interest, and Fosgate gave his wife a check for $14,000 in open court. Judge Akers then signed the decree of divorce.

Ed Foskett and Dennis Puitman held the nozzle of the hose going into the hall and it was while blinded by smoke and steam that Fosket fell head first thru a large hole that had been burned in the floor and landed on the stove which had fallen before their arrival...Ed Foskett, as a result of his work to assist the firemen, is laid up at the Wesleyan hospital with both jaws and nose broken, but is doing nicely.
