Esau seems to have deserted his wife sometime before 1867 when his "widow" married again in 1867.

The death of Esau Foskett, was reported by the British Consul in France in 1874.
He died at 7 oclock in the evening at Route de la Revolte, 5, although his abode was given as Rue de ?erry, 11, Paris.
His profession stated to be Cosher? and that he was unmarried. His father stated to be Esau Foskett and that he was born in Grendon Underwood in England, both parents deceasedand he was 34 years old.
The informant was a Jean Jenkins, age 48, profession "Tentier", whose home address was given as Rue de Galilee, No 74, Paris.
and a Pierre Colin, concierge,of Route de la Revolte, No 5.
