William Foskett, a little lad, was charged by Mrs Staires of Grandborough, for breaking her window. It appeared by the evidence that the woman Staires was of a bad character. The Bench advised the boy's mother to repair the window, which after some contention was agreed to.

As children, William and his future wife lived two doors away from each other in Weston Lane, Winslow.
