Notes for: Cecil John FOSKETT

On the death of his parents, Cecil was sent to Canada with his brother as orphans. He and his brother were separated on arrival and never saw each other again. Cecil later emigrated to the USA.
----
Fegan homes admission
Cecil was admitted to the Fegan Home in Stoney Stratford, 02 Jun 1911, direct from the Winslow Union.
Admission was sought because his mother "is very ill and not able to work for them and they are quite destitute and have no food to eat and the cause of my mother's illness is starvation, she has had no food for weeks" (written by eldest sister Phoebe on the application form)
On 13th May the mother signed her consent for the boys to be taken to Canada or USA by Fegan Homes.
