Isabel Foxcote who held 1 messuage and 1 virgate of land with appurtenances has died. Heriot due is the crop of 1/2 acre of the better land worth [left blank] because she has no animal. Her son John is her next heir by blood and, present in court, did fealty and acknowledged himself to hold the messuage and land according to the custom of the manor for the ancient rents, works and customs. He paid no fine because he paid one with his parents William and Isabel at their entry as is found by inspection of the court roll
