Another Murder in Buckinghamshire
Joseph Fosket was a witness in the case of John Allen, Thomas Collier and Thomas Reeves, labourers, charged with the murder of William Morris, aged about 20, employed by a farmer, near Horwood, of College fram.
Joseph Fosket described a quarrel which took place at the New Bell, Aston Clinton, between the parties, when Morris observed to Allen “that it was too bad to take a man respecting a horse he, Allen, had sold to a man named Ballard”. Allen said he had no right to interfere, and offered to fight him.
