1729 Apprenticed to William Hargest, barber of Bristol for sum of £45
12 July 1741 Captain James Lloyd, The Winchester, Spithead. After the death of his surgeon's first mate, Thomas Boulton, and the appointment of Joseph Coke to replace John Sinclear, Mr. Cooke has resigned. Sir Yelverton Peyton, captain of the Hector has appointed Thomas Foskett as surgeon's first mate.
1747 Beneficiary of mother's will.
1753 Beneficiary and executor of sister Rachel's will.
Referred to as "Foskett the barber" in Verney Papers.
Will dated 02 Nov 1762 and proved PCC in 1767 in which he is described as "of Clifton, Gloucestershire".
