A Man Killed on the London and North Western Railway
On Thursday afternoon a man named Fosket, who was employed on the above line at the Camden Town Station, as a greaser, met with his death under the following circumstances;- At the moment that one of the luggage trains was advancing towards the station, Fosket imprudently attempted to cross the line, but before he could reach the other side he was overtaken by the train, and frightfully crushed between the buffers and some luggage wagons. The unfortunate man was immediately conveyed to the University College Hospital, which is within a short distance of the Euston Square Station. Mr Coghlan, the house surgeon, on examining the body, found that life was quite extinct.
