Emigrated to Canada prior to 22 Feb 1906 on the "Tunisian" to St Johns, New Brunswick Canada, labourer.
Aug 1914: Joined the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force. Unmarried. Had previous service in a military force. 5ft 4ins with girth of 33ins; fair hair and complexion, grey eyes. 4 vaccination marks on left arm and mole on left hip.
