FOSKETT: KERSHAW - On the 6th Oct at Brighouse Parish Church, by the Rev H R Evens, Vicar of Brighouse, Lieut Walter Foskett, MC of the Indian Army to Dollie Kershaw, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs J R Kershaw, Lindon House, Brighouse, Yorkshire.

Arrived in New York with wife and children as transit passengers aboard SS Carinthia from Liverpool on 1st December 1928. Walter was in the Medical Service and his home was given as Sevenoaks, Kent. Their final destination was Suva in Fiji. His nearest relative was brother B (Bartholomew?) Foskett of Sevenoaks.
He was 5ft 4 inches tall, with fresh complexion, dark hair and grey eyes. He is described as Captain Foskett by his sister who accompanied the family as a nurse.
