They moved to Michigan about 3 years after they were married.
They were early settlers of Otisci Twp, Ionia Co, MI where he built a saw and grist mill, served as an assesser, highway commissioner, school inspector and town clerk. He became supervisor of Grand Rapids township, Kent Co, MI in 1857. Resided Rochester, NY, Ionia, MI 1835 and Kent Co, MI in 1851.
