Daniel is said to have gone to Charleston, SC & entered the service of the U.S. as surgeon's mate. He was named in his fathers will of July 1793. He went to NY State ca 1810 and lived in Darien, Genesee Co., NY. On his gravestone it says Dr. Daniel, b. 1755, Surgeon in Rev. War.
