She sold the old farm after the deaths of her brother and sister.
She died unmarried, aged 73 years and 7 months.
By her will she left $2000 to the town in trust, the income of which to be expended for the benefit of poor, deserving women of Berlin (not paupers), for which gracious gift her memory is held in kindly regard and esteem by all. (History of Berlin by Houghton)
