From the History of Fitzwilliam, NH: Aaron Garfield of Shrewsbury, MA, bought land of Sampson Stoddard 08 Apr 1767.
His name does not appear in the records after 1770.
An Aaron Garfield of Warwick, MA, married in Princeton, MA 28 Mar 1791 Silence Rolph, the daughter of Stephen and Susanna (Stewart) Rolph. Some say it is this Aaron but it is possible it is the Aaron Garfield who died in Glover, Vt in 1863 age 92.
