The family record says he was born 24 Nov 1799 and the 1850 census suggests this is correct for he is listed at Tioga, Tioga Co, PA as age 51 born NY. When his mother died his father sent him to live with Col Ambrose Millard about 1805. The Colonel took him to Tioga, PA.
He was killed working in a tannery at Tioga.
