He had married firstly Dulcina Converse, Harriet and Reuben did not get along too well so she and the children made their home with her brother Dan in Charlton, MA. In her later years she lived in E Woodstock, CT with her son Byron. Reuben drove a baker's cart for many years and later worked in a meat market in Webster, MA.
