He was of Lempster, NH at time of their marriage. He married secondly on 24 Sep 1866 to Lucy Ann Willis, the daughter of Ezra Willis, born 25 Dec 1829.
She was a Free Baptist and died in Littleton on 13 Nov 1897. They had 1 child: Lewis A Allen born Littleton on 29 March 1871 and died 11 Aug 1871 in the same place.
