Charles was sub-treasurer at San Francisco 1869 to 1872. In Nov. 1880 chosen a representative in San Mateo County. In Nov. 1884, chosen a member of Congress 1885 to 1887. It is reported that he is one of the richest men of the Golden State. From the Felton Family.
