Notes for: Perley Stone COFFIN
of Newport, N.H.
Perley, in connection with John Puffer, erected the original Sugar River Mills and carried on business in company with D J Goodrich and later with Seth and Dexter Richards, until the close of the war. In 1867 the partnership was dissolved and the same year in connection with William Nourse built the Granite State Mills. He was a representative in 1872 and 1873. (History of Newport, NH)
