He began the study of pharmacy in Sept. 1889 with F. W. Russell, M. D. of Winchendon, Ma. He clerked in Boston City Hospital Dispensary and other city stores; attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and passed examination before the Mass. State Board of Pharmacy in Apr. 1893. In May 1894 purchased a drug business in Allston, Ma. From the History of Randolph, Vt.
