In the 1855 census for the Town of German Flats, Herkimer Co, NY with daughters: Helen 5, Emily 3, his mother Lura age 72, his mother-in law Esther Wakelee age 70 and a servant Mary J Sullivan age 15 born Ireland.
The two daughters were living with Elizabeth Dart and family in Palmyra in the census of 1860.
