Obituary of Daniel: In Perry Aug 6 1875, Daniel Foskett aged 69 years, 5 months and 11 days. Another of our old citizens has passed away. The deceased has lived on the home farm mor ethan 40 years, where he has worked in his young manhood, toiled in middle age and in his declining years enjoyed the comforts of his home surrounded by his large family, consisting of a wife, 8 sons and 2 daughters. All of the family were with him at the time of his death. 2 of his sons arrived from Chicago, Ill only 1 day before he died and just in time to be known by the decease.

Obituary of Louise: In Perry, Aug 9th 1875, Mrs Louise Ann Foskett, aged 63 years. Mrs Foskett had been blind for a number of years, but had not shown serious sickness until after the death of her husband whose decease is noted above. The children who came to attend the father's funeral, have also been called to bury their mother. The coincidence in the 2 deaths is remarkable.
